SEED – what, why and how

what

I am currently writing is a book called SEED… I would like you to consider this book and the accompanying CD of mindfulness soundscapes as a tuning fork. And like a tuning fork used by musicians to tune their instruments, the sole focus of ‘Seed’ is to dial us into alignment with the powerful essence of who we truly are. And in turn, grow a very precious, profound and powerful part of our selves that we have neglected because it has not been seen and so, not fully understood.

I believe our personal evolution and the evolution of this planet requires this essential relationship to be nurtured like a seed and allowed to grow us – unfurling new branches of understanding, intelligence and a whole new menu of possibilities.

why

I want to shine a light on our personal seed of evolution; a seed that has been germinating in us since we were born into an organic body. I feel inspired to share products and information to help you clear your home, work place or farm of man-made pollutants that inhibit your personal ability to thrive and our pollinators ability to thrive so we can grow our intelligence and expand our capacity to care and actively engage in consumer actions that support life – your life and the life of the planet. Please note: I have no investment in or receive renumeration for any of the products I recommend in my book. And I will keep it that way so you can trust that the information I provide is unsullied.

I would like invite YOU to take a look at the sleeping beauty in you that has been laying in a type of suspended animation. A part of you has been waiting for YOU to see yourself for who you truly are; a powerful resonant being whose very essence is Beauty Itself.

Eve Ensler, who wrote the Vagina Monologues, asked me to write a song for her VDay documentary ‘Until the Violence Stops‘. At the time, I was living on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii recovering from Mercury Poisoning which had been misdiagnosed. The symptoms of which presented as ‘Graves Disease’.

The Mercury in addition to allergies to Chlorine and Sulphates in toothpaste and shampoos, in addition to herbicides and pesticides in the food I ate, created a toxic overload in my body. This led to being manic mentally and emotionally. The ‘Graves Event’ as I call it would take more than a decade out of my life and led me on an ever expanding journey to notice we have solution issues around the following topics:

  • what is personal agency
  • what is clean water
  • what is organic food
  • what is healthy non-toxic personal care products
  • what is non-toxic agriculture
  • what is healthy cookware
  • what is SELF care

The song I wrote for Eve in 2003 is called, ‘Because You’re Beautiful‘. This song was born out of my realisation that I had a beauty wound. That I had disengaged from my ability to discern for myself and trust my innate divine intelligence. Some where along the line, I had lost the agency to care and acknowledge myself properly. The meaning of Agency being, a person that acts to produce a particular result.

I was confronted by the fact that I was unable to fully accept and love myself, and see what is absolutely true…

We are each a Living Beauty, we are a Beauty that can never be hurt, harmed or endangered. We are a Beauty that can never be made more beautiful nor can we be made less beautiful because our very essence is Beauty itself.

Just take a moment and soak in the concept that the essence and resonance of who YOU truly are is… Beauty.

I want to invite you to stop for just one minute and connect in with this concept of Beauty I’m talking about. Yes, right here and now. You may be in a bookstore or reading this online, where ever you are, find a spot that feels safe and comfortable and then take a moment regardless of the business around you.

Once you’ve found your spot, close your eyes and breathe normally for just one minute artikel. The task is to notice how your body feels, vibrates and pulses and how silence in your ears buzzes. Notice how light and patterns flicker and pulse inside your head when you do absolutely nothing but close your eyes and notice.

This pulsing, buzzing and flickering is what I call resonant life force. And this beautiful resonant life force is your spirit inside your body waiting for acknowledgment, connection, and direction.

Ok, now that you’ve checked in would you agree that the essence of your spirit/ life force is precious? If you have trouble seeing yourself as precious I want to invite you to see yourself as a small child. Now, with your child self in front of you would be willing to tell that child how precious he or she is in this world, and that you thought it would be important for them to know.

If you could really get how stunningly beautiful and precious you really are, what would you do to love, care and advocate for this part of yourself. What would you be willing to do to create a space for this aspect of yourself to take centre stage?

how

My book explores a beauty wound that effects both men and women, and how it has been passed down from generation to generation. I explore with you how we can easily create an healthy environment for this aspect of who we are to thrive, unfurl and emerge by making small tweaks and adjustments to the products we buy and use in our homes and gardens. As well as strategies to adjust the way we talk to ourselves and think of ourselves, and allow others to talk to us or treat us.

Everyday we are ingesting chemicals that are no good for our gut’s microbiome and this effects the way we perceive ourselves, each other and our world.

We can protect, heal and nourish our world through our care for ourselves.

You see, what we buy we grow. If don’t buy what does not support our life force or life itself, then manufacturers will produce what we will buy. That is the collective power we have to change the world.

We are each resonant beings that need: whole-food, activities, and interactions that nourish our life in every possible way.

My book Seed, breaks down what authentic acknowledgment and nourishment look like in the 21st century. It breaks down how we pollute ourselves and our nests, and it shines a light on simple direct actions to restore balance. Nothing complex or complicated.

When we are not acknowledging our beauty we are out of alignment – we struggle with self-confidence, with speaking our truth, experience the shame of being seen by another and the complexities of honest self-reflection. We can binge on buying junk we put in our mouths and in our homes. It seems for many, being able to consider giving our selves permission to be radically honest, is a struggle – and there is the rub –

It’s time to blast the doors off the hinges to our personal cages of limitation!

I know for myself, my struggle with feeling worthy and deserving because of my inability to communicate and reveal myself authentically is directly linked to how critical I am of my self and others. And, this is reflected how I invest in self care. And I know I am not alone in this.

Unfortunately, aligning with what we perceive is weakness only leads to habitual self-sabotage and finding it difficult to feel motivated to care for ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually.

Because what we focus on we create, I ask the question, what do you focus on when you think of yourself?

If it is unloving and not kind, do you have the courage to look closely to seek out why? Do you find this question difficult? Do you resist? If it is difficult, I wonder if it is difficult because you may have abandoned yourself at some point on our life journey, and it is has been a long time since you’ve really connected lovingly with yourself.

Why do we do this?

We do this because we are either living out our ancestors’ survival mechanisms; their unresolved trauma, or because we personally allow past events and the negative distorted beliefs about how we believe we are seen colour how to view ourselves. We simply were not taught to relate to ourselves as Soul Evolved Life Force.

This creates an uncomfortable alignment which produces negative self-talk. We can get really stuck in negative self-talk. Self-talk that holds us hostage and blackmails us.

Isn’t it time to take a breath and allow our innate juicy life force to bloom and go on an adventure?

Good clean water, good food, less pharmaceuticals and synthetic chemicals. Being our own good company and the good company of likeminded individuals is the simplest answer.

I love that I’ve come to understand that we are each a Living Beauty with a vibrant seed of untapped potential, and I am committed to doing every thing in my power I can to support our precious life force and to shine a light on what contributes to restoring not only our resonate human bodies, homes and our planet through our daily purchases.

Together we have the power to change our world. We are corporate farmers.

If we only buy products that support our life force and the life force of bees, corporations will manufacture what we will buy.

A bee goes out foraging – shopping for nutrients to sustain the community. Unfortunately, our littlest angels – the bee and other pollinators are struggling because of the products we buy.

This is an invitation to learn simple ways to love up your body and your home and enjoy impact your actions has on the world.
